Youth Peace Ambassador Internship
Placement: 10 positions currently open for Spring/Summer/Fall 2013
Requirements: Should have education, interest and/or learning in the area of Human Rights, Peace and Security, Sustainable Development, Indigenous Peoples, Climate Change, Millennium Development Goals. All candidates should be dedicated, dependable, focused and resilient.
ART, ATHLETICS and SCIENCE: Candidates with learning and education in film, writing, journalism, theatre, dance, performance law, biology, agriculture and the like are encouraged to apply.

Human Affet offers international expert youth internship in higher learning and education on peace and security; sustainable development, indigenous issues, millennium development goals,climate change and human rights. Human Affect expert youth internships equips each graduate with an expert implementation initiative that surrounds their special skill, education and development. Upon completion their implementation becomes an international pilot sustainability commitment that they utilize to reach their human rights based career goals.

Human Affect with their partners commit to training 1000 youth in the expert area of Human Rights Learning as Peace Workers and Sustainable Development initiators.

Human Affect is able to reach out and offer their expert intensive youth peace ambassador internship to African Youth and Afro Diaspora Youth..
INTERNSHIP
YEWMBA is an Economic Social Ecological Non Governmental Organization seeking to fill ten (10), 25 hour, Youth Peace Ambassador 9 Month Internship Positions (3 Months Addition if Thesis has not been completed) and twenty (20), 40 hour, 3 Month, Youth Peace Ambassador, Summer Intensive Internship Positions.
We are seeking strong candidates with following background training and skills. Human Rights, Rights of the Child, Athletic Peace Marathons, Graphic Design, Radio, Television, Music, Dance, Medical, Architecture, Art, Organizer, Human Trafficking, Womens Health, Science and Technology.
Must speak fluent in English to participate in the internship at this time. If bilingual in French, Amharic, Arabic and/or Spanish - this is a plus.
Requirements:
9 Month commitment, Able to work special events in New York City, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Newark New Jersey, Dallas Texas, Baltimore MD, 5 -10 hours of online conference training weekly, Some outside evening and weekend hours for special events (with notice) and intern (8-20) hours Bi-weekly during group sessions in your city with the team per week. Able to work from home with full access to computer, internet, fax, phone, webcam and recording device. Able to travel on weekends, if needed, for outside on location seminars, hands on training, etc. (with notice). No Nationality Requirements: Encourage Native American, Afro American, Indigenous African, African, Indian, Indigenous Peoples, Youth Women, etc. to apply for position. `
Each intern is matched with a mentor and is required to have sponsorship in the amount of $1200 that covers thier travel, lunch, study materials and economic sustainability kit.
This is 1000 hour internship which equals 20 hours per week, 80 hours per month, for 9 - 12 months.
The summer internship is a 3 month intensive track that equals 40 hours per week, 160 hours per month, for 3 months for a total of 780 hours. The summer intensive will take place in Democratic Republic of Congo in 2013.

Events we organize and coordinate vary from artistic, athletic, humanitarian to scientific. You will be given the opportunity to lead the team and assist the team based on your expertise. No matter the event we always put team work first.
This opportunity will offer you many opportunities to expand and grow your expertise. We require that all applicants be 18 years of age, dedicated and serious focused peoples. We are all leaders and must be will to always work together to make the job happen. This is a volunteer position with the possibility of being hired as a part time or full time employee upon completion of volunteer service.
