Horn of Africa Tribute Concert and Humanitarian Awards - May 31st, 2013

 May 31st, 2013
A Day for Honoring Humanitarian Artist, Athletes and Scientist that have utilized their talent and expertise as a conduit to raise  awareness and consciousness of the many issues humanity
face today.
Their exemplary  courage, talent and intelligence should be  recognized and remembered at home and abroad.  Few artist, athletes and scientist lend their life's work to benefit humanity today
So, in honoring these great men and women we are setting a new standard, in a new age that youth everywhere will begin to witness.
The Horn of Africa has been facing massive issues of displacement  that are geared around war and the inability to secure responsible, peaceful, solutions that offer reconciliation.
Human Affect and YEWMBA are honoring ones whom have been on the battlefield for peace and reconciliation within the Horn of Africa.
Come Join us on May 31st, 2013 for this wonderful celebration of life and peace.

YEWMBA made a commitment to train 1000 youth by 2017 to assist in reaching the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal's that entail Youth Empowerment through sustainable mechanism.  Peace
and Reconciliation is the key to empowerment.
20% of all funds raised for the "Horn of Africa Tribute  concert and Humanitarian Awards" will go towards the "Horn of Africa Women in the Arts Telela Kebede Scholarship Fund".
Sponsor a '"Youth Peace Ambassador" and empower their future for years to come.
We appreciate your assistance in reaching our full potential.
Thank you

50% of all funds raised, during the Horn of Africa Tribute Concert and
Humanitarian Awards, will go to the Human Affect / YEWMBA  International
"Youth Peace Ambassador" Internship that offers Youth the
opportunity to train one year with United Nations Civil Society on
how to utilize art, athletics and science towards raising awareness
on human rights, indigenous peoples, sustainable development,
climate change, MDG's and peace and security.
